Experienced full stack developer with background in Microbiology and Toxicology.

Sam has a background in Biological Sciences, with degrees in Microbiology and Toxicology from the Universities of Warwick and Surrey. He has since worked in the Falkland Islands and the Galapagos Islands as a Marine Biologist whilst transitioning to a career in software development, specializing in Science and Engineering applications. During his time in the Galapagos Islands, Sam was instrumental in creating a suite of biodiversity-focused web applications which made available a large amount of the historical and contemporary research from the archipelago. Sam has worked in a senior role building web applications for a variety of North American companies, including Pepsi, Unirac, ScriptSpeaker and Rival Schools. Initially focused on backend architecture, Sam has embraced Full Stack development and these days can be found hacking through the various layers of modern web applications.
