Intern – Field Operations & Customer Success (California)

This is an exciting paid internship opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced and dynamic scale-up environment. As a Field Operations & Customer Success Intern, you will play a key role in executing serviced trials for both new and existing Aerobotics customers. You will be accountable for on-farm data collection, trial execution, and operational support, helping ensure new and existing customers get meaningful value from our technology.

This is a highly practical, field-oriented role suited to someone who enjoys being outdoors on farms and learning by doing. You will gain first-hand exposure to how advanced AI technology is applied in real agricultural environments, with clear opportunities to grow your responsibilities over time.

Location required: California – Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield or surrounds (field-based, with ability to travel to farming regions)

What you’ll do

Customer Trials & Field Execution:

* Drive the execution of serviced trials with growers, packhouses, and fruit companies
* Conduct on-farm data collection using Aerobotics’ mobile tools
* Ensure trials are run accurately, consistently, and according to best practice
* Coordinate logistics and scheduling for field visits and customer engagements
* Support communication between customers and internal stakeholders
* Exposure to customer onboarding, seasonal workflows, data deliveries and post-trial follow-ups

Learning & Growth:

* Learn how AI-driven insights are used to influence real farming decisions
* Build a strong understanding of fruit production cycles and operational challenges
* Gradually take on increased responsibility as skills and confidence grow

What you’ll need

* Strong interest in agriculture, AgTech, or field-based work
* Willingness to travel regularly to farming regions across California
* Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license
* Comfortable working outdoors and in operational farm environments
* Curious, hands-on, and eager to learn
* Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
* Organized, reliable, and able to follow processes carefully

The Details

Location: California – Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield or surrounds (field-based, with ability to travel to farming regions)

Duration: Internship (Immediate start, seasonal or 6-12 months)

Time required: 30 hours per week

Reports to: GM Customer Success California

Salary Range: $3- $3.5k Per Month depending on available hours

Practical details: You need to have your own car, be comfortable being on the road & in field (fuel will be reimbursed).
