Additional Information:
IGS has developed a programme for Interns to work on specific projects throughout the year. These are real problems and opportunities that exist for the business. We ask interns to research and develop solutions, adding their skills and experience to the situation. In 2025 we will have about 5 Interns. They will come to us via a variety of routes. Each Intern will have somebody to work with, who will act as their project supervisor. We also have a buddy system, with everybody paired up with a colleague to support their informal integration into the business.
The teams are set up around business function, but there are many crossovers and opportunities for collaboration between departments. Communication in our business is key, so we would expect Interns to be able to quickly become part of our communication ecosystems. There will be regular check ins and opportunities to share work. Some sort of feedback and presentation will take place to a wider audience.
An Internship with IGS is not only about a project, or a specific goal. It is also about learning in a different environment, starting to understand the business world, and having a glimpse of what it could be like to work in a similar environment. For this reason, we want our Interns to spend time at one of our facilities, collaborating and getting involved. This experience is as important as the project output. There is also a strong social element to the programme. We encourage each cohort of Interns to work together and also to go out and be sociable! There will be a couple of company hosted events that will bring everybody together. We want all our Interns to feel part of something.
The team at IGS is diverse and inclusive. They have come from different backgrounds,
organisations and countries, with a shared passion to make the organisation, their products, colleagues and customers, a success. They are outward looking, professional and innovative, with very high levels of engagement and commitment. Together they are creating a market leading product, at the same time as becoming an employer of choice.
As a company we are growing fast, on a global scale, in a dynamic and fast paced sector.
We are always looking out for great people. An Internship with IGS will also give you the opportunity to look closely at a potential employer!
