As we scale up, we are looking for a junior Data Engineer to help structure and secure our growing data ecosystem.
🧩 Your mission
You will join a multidisciplinary and collaborative Data team. Your goal: make data accessible, usable, and trusted across the company.
In this role, you will:
*Set up, maintain, and scale our internal databases
*Maintain and evolve our Benchling data model with scientific teams
*Manage AWS ↔ Benchling synchronization and ensure data integrity
*Oversee the lifecycle of scientific data: from acquisition to archiving
*Contribute to data governance best practices
*Communicate clearly with researchers, biologists, and other non-tech teams
Preferred experience
*You have 1–2 years of experience (or internship) in data engineering, DevOps or software development
*You’re organized, curious, and a good listener
*You enjoy making things work and explaining how they work
*You have working knowledge of Python, AWS (preferred, similar cloud infra are okay too), SQL, and versioning tools (Git + GitHub/GitLab)
*You’re interested in biology, health, or agritech — no need to be an expert, but it helps

We are using bacteria’s natural predator, the bacteriophage, to win the fight against antibiotic resistance and cure infectious diseases. We use breakthrough technologies in both the wet lab and dry lab to generate customized treatments for pathogenic diseases at an unprecedented speed.
