Position: Android Developer

About the Role :

We are looking for an Android Developer proficient in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM). You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying production-ready Android applications, ensuring seamless performance and user experience.

Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and deploy Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

* Architect scalable mobile solutions, applying MVVM/MVI patterns.

* Build and integrate APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.

* Implement cross-platform features using Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) where applicable.

* Optimize app performance across devices with attention to battery, memory, and network usage.

* Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver polished features.

* Write unit tests, perform debugging, and participate in code reviews.

* Stay updated on emerging Android frameworks, libraries, and tools.

Skills & Qualifications

* Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK.

* Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose for modern UI development.

* Solid understanding of Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).

* Experience integrating REST APIs and working with databases (Room/SQLite).

* Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

* Ability to take ownership of features and deliver them end-to-end.

Bonus Points If You have:

* Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM).

* Knowledge of Coroutines, Flow, and reactive programming.

* Familiarity with Firebase, analytics, and crash reporting tools.

* Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and app store deployment.

* Previous experience in climate-tech, agri-tech, or impact-driven products.
