Position : Team Lead
Location: Kurnool Andhra Pradesh

Duties and Responsibilities

* Own end-to-end plantation execution in the assigned cluster, including farmer onboarding, planting, and early survival management.

* Lead farmer communication and local marketing activities such as village meetings, farmer interactions, and exposure visits to drive adoption.

* Coordinate with implementation partners and nurseries to ensure sapling quality, timely supply, and proper planting practices.

* Manage and supervise implementation-partner teams, with the ability to effectively handle 5 to 10 field surveyors and ensure data quality.

* Plan and monitor field operations, including pit preparation, planting schedules, aftercare, and first-90-day maintenance.

* Track plantation performance, survival rates, and on-ground risks, and take timely corrective actions.

* Handle farmer issues and expectations professionally to protect long-term trust and program credibility.

* Conduct farm audit post plantation activities to evaluate the quality of plantation

Required Skills and Experience

* Graduate in Agriculture, Forestry, Environmental Science, Rural Development, or related field

* 1–4 years of experience in plantation execution, rural programs, agriculture operations, or field-based project management

* Prior experience leading field teams and coordinating with partners preferred

* Strong field execution and operational planning skills

* Experience in managing on-ground teams and implementation partners

* Knowledge of plantation practices, sapling quality, and early-stage survival management

* Excellent farmer and community engagement skills

* Ability to assess risks and take corrective actions in the field

* Data quality awareness and basic reporting skills

* The job requires frequent travelling
