Apeel Sciences makes edible coatings for produce that increases their shelf life. They claim that their product, Apeel, can make avocados, citrus and other types of fruit last twice as long and that their coating is tasteless and made from plant materials.They acquired Impact Vision, one of our portfolio companies which is how we became a shareholder.
