Hwy Haul is a digital freight platform for fresh produce. Today, fresh produce in the US travels between 2 million farms and over 40,000 retailers in a convoluted, non-transparent, and oftentimes low-quality supply chain involving 500,000 refrigerated trucks. Worse yet, there is a shortage of 175,000 drivers, which is expected to double within the next few year. Hwy Haul has built a two-sided shipping marketplace focused on organizing and streamlining the complex refrigerated produce distribution market. With key features including ‘on the spot’ pricing and booking, load temperature tracking, re-routing capabilities, delay prediction, and enhanced functionality around handling rejected deliveries. The company is rapidly building a satisfied customer base. Hwy Haul's growth over the last 12 months has been very impressive.

Syed Aman
CEO/Cofounder
Before founding Hwy Haul, Aman was the Director of Supply Chain at Walmart where he successfully led and delivered various logistics and transportation products and brought them to scale. He was instrumental in laying the foundation of Walmart’s online grocery platform and scaling it to a multi-billion dollar top line. Before his +5 years at Walmart, Aman spent 5 years at GAP, implementing their Order Management System and Warehouse Management System across distribution centers in the US and internationally. He also held technical roles at Tata Consultancy Services and Infosys, spearheading warehouse automation and robotics implementations for various Fortune 200 companies in Europe, Asia and North America. Aman has a Bachelor’s Degree from IIT Kanpur.
Sharan Grewal
CTO/Cofounder
Sharan Grewal comes to Hwy Haul having spent 8+ years at WalmartLabs, most recently as a Senior Engineering Manager. In that capacity, he built scalable solutions for Walmart’s Online Grocery, Pharmacy and Photo verticals. He also architected and launched Walmart’s global multi-tenant Last Mile Delivery ecosystem. Prior to Walmart, he led digitization of business processes for Wells Fargo Bank, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Wellpoint. Sharan holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Pune.
