SIMULATE is a New York based startup founded in 2017 which produces a frozen plant-based chicken nugget that it sells directly to consumers with a focus on the Gen-Z consumer. SIMULATE's founder, Ben Paternak is 20-years old and has been a tech entrepreneur for the past six years and in 2016 was named one of the world's most influential teenagers by Time magazine.
At 14, Ben created 2 iOS games that went viral and topped the app store charts. At 15, he moved to New York and launched his first venture backed companies - Flogg and Monkey. Afterwards he wanted to move away from social apps and decided to start Nuggs, now SIMULATE.
Thierry has over 20 years in food research experience at Danone. He holds a PhD in Food Science & Biotechnology from Henri Poincare University of Nancy.
Sam started his career at Penguin Random House. He then co-founded Hater, a dating app based on what people hate, after which he joined Nuggs as COO.
